LaneSystems: Finalists in the North East 2019 Charity AwardsPosted By: Helen Monday 16th September 2019Tags: charity, charity awards, charity awards north east, it support, north east charity awards 2019, social responsibility
As the title of today’s post suggests, at LaneSystems we have reached the finals of the North East 2019 Charity Awards! Not only are we thrilled to have reached this stage in the awards process we are privileged to have been even nominated.
If you’re not already aware of the work we do with charities and organisations, you can learn a bit more via our blog, Helping Zoe’s Place. We also work closely with MAIN and Citizens Advice Bureaus in Stockton, South Tyneside, Sunderland and Newcastle. More recently we have sponsored a local children’s football team. We help and support these groups because we want to and we are passionate about our local area and proud of the organisations we have.
About the Awards
Running for the fifth year, the event itself is a chance to celebrate the accomplishments of the region’s charity, voluntary and social enterprise sectors. It also pays tribute to supporting individuals and local businesses, which we are among! With ten categories listed, LaneSystems are one of three finalists in the ‘Outstanding Charity Support by Small to Medium Companies’ category.
When do we find out?
Taking place at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, we are excited to attend the event on 17th October 2019. We are very much looking forward to an inspirational evening with speakers and good news stories. Of course we would LOVE to win, but simply being nominated in the first place and being finalists is fantastic. Take a look at the recent ChronicleLive article for a detailed overview of the event.
Some ‘Thank You’s’
Whilst we are finalists in the North East 2019 Charity Awards because our help has been recognised, we wouldn’t have made it this far had we not received nominations. We would like to wholeheartedly thank MAIN Ethicare of Durham, Stockton’s Citizen Advice Bureau, South Tyneside’s Citizen Advice Bureau, Sunderland’s Citizen Advice Bureau and Newcastle’s Citizen Advice Bureau.
